All the mice in the field are gathering food for the winter, all except Frederick, who seems only to daydream about birds and clouds and flowers... But when the snow and icy winds arrive, it is Frederick who has stored up something special for the dark and dreary days.
This award-winning adaptation (2016 "Distinguished Play Award," American Alliance for Theatre & Education) has been created for the stage from the Caldecott award-winning book by Leo Lionni. Adapted for the stage by Suzanne Maynard Miller, with songs by Sarah Durkee & Paul Jacobs.
